This teacher found a way to teach about nonfiction text features using information about butterflies as an example.  This anchor chart easily incorporates reading instruction with science, allowing students to see the connections between multiple disciplines.  By creating an aesthetically appealing anchor chart, this teacher is able to help students get excited about learning this content.  What other nonfiction topics could utilize these connections between science and reading instruction? http://www.pinterest.com/pin/450711875180497168/
